Overview

     The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in the year 2007 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. In the year 2009, the sanctioned intake was increased to 120 students. The PG programme in VLSI Design was started in the year 2012 with a sanctioned intake of 18 students. The department gears up the students for careers in the constantly developing discipline. The paramount goal of the department has been to bestow high quality technical education to the students with comprehensive in importance on designing, analyzing and configuring Communication systems. The department has significant role to develop smart phone and other gadgets. All the laboratories are fully equipped with sophisticated facilities. The department organizes National Level Conference “NCUTE” every year as a part of department association activities. Students from various colleges in various technical events of the conference. Through the department association, various National Level Conferences, seminars, workshops, talk by eminent personalities are conducted.

            To produce qualified graduates to take up and resolve the challenges in the field of Electronics and Communication.

  1. To set up a competent and effective teaching atmosphere in order to make the students get involved in application-based learning.  

  2. To develop Soft and Hard skills for enhancing the employability of students through a comprehensive training process.

  3. To strive to bring out novel ideas from the students and provide them with a competitive advantage in the ever-changing working environment.

  1. Efficiency to design and test the systems in the field of Electronics, Embedded, VLSI, Communication Systems and Signal Processing.

  2. Perceive the applications of basic electronic components, essential hardware, software tools and proficient to use them appropriately.

  3. Apply strong fundamental knowledge and advanced concepts for problem-solving in the respective areas.
